Product Detail
Add-to-basket as usual, or use "+ Add to Personpack pool". A team callout points straight at the dedicated Personpack Builder.
View PDP →Personpack Builder
Dedicated landing page with an explainer hero. Customer builds a product pool, names each person, assigns sizes & quantities.
View builder →Cart
The normal route. "Carry basket to builder" sends current items into the Personpack pool with one click.
View Cart →Personpack flow — what changed
Following the office feedback: the Personpack Builder is now its own dedicated destination, not a step buried in checkout. Customers can route in from the PDP (team callout), from the cart (carry over basket items), or directly from a future info page.
- PDP: "Ordering for a team?" callout takes customers straight to the builder. "+ Add to Personpack pool" stages a product without going through the normal cart.
- Builder: Hero explainer (with space for a future walkthrough video), a global product pool, then per-person cards for names, sizes and quantities.
- Carry-over: Items already in the basket can be moved into the pool with one click — no re-shopping.
- Collate & checkout: Once packs are built, the totals roll up and customers head to logos & embroidery, then pay. Each Personpack is bagged and labelled separately.
Individual Packing — proposed flow
A per-line checkbox in the Cart. Only shown on products flagged as "can be individually packaged" in the product data file. Items that ship pre-boxed (boots) or pre-packaged (folded trousers) display the reason inline and the checkbox is hidden.
- Customer ticks per line, not a blanket cart toggle — full control.
- Fee = £0.49 × qty of every ticked line, recalculated live.
- "Pack all eligible" shortcut for big orders.
- Product data flag drives eligibility:
can_be_individually_packed: true/false.
